Aromas & Flavors
Opens with concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry, and cassis, layered with cedar, graphite, and dark chocolate. Subtle tertiary notes of tobacco, leather, and spice reveal its age and evolution.
Mouthfeel
Full-bodied and structured, with firm yet polished tannins. Decanting for 45 minutes softened its edges, revealing layers of fruit and earth. The finish is silky, delicate, and persistent, showing remarkable balance.
Food Pairings
Best with grilled ribeye, lamb chops, braised short ribs, or aged cheeses. Also pairs beautifully with mushroom or truffle-based dishes.

We have been spoiled by some excellent Bordeaux blends recently. This has very pure and excellent Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, well aged. Paired with prime steak.
