La Mascota Mendoza Pinot Noir
Tart, bright cherry, a thin earthiness. Unfortunately it seems like the bottle was 90% of the investment. Argentinian Pinot Noir is a compelling endeavor, but this ones needs another at-bat.

Oct 15th, 2020It was worth a try bc it’s a Pinot Noir from an atypical region. It was reminiscent of a Malbec but a little more earthy.

Aug 17th, 2020Yuck. Tart. Sour. Thin. Awful. Bought it based on a James Suckling rating. Always had luck with advocate and spectator rated wines. Clearly I don’t have the same taste as the Suckling folks. Won’t buy again.
