Jul 22nd, 2016Don’t know how much longer this wine has: 2006 showing its age with nose of secondary notes of saddle leather, Earth, soil, forest floor, barnyard and spices. Nice mouthfeel but the tannins were a little tired, brick on edges of glass with truncated finish. Big glycerin quality - hi alcohol. Great to see wines from this DO become more popular

nose: dark jammy fruit, vanilla, baking spice (cinnamon, clove)
Palate: black cherry, bramble, mocha, velvety tannin, smooth, lush finish, moderate tannin. Garrigue & mineral. Biodynamic. yum!
