Good value for everyday drinking. Slightly smoky marinade on the nose. Cherries and plums. My buddy says chocolate, maybe.

2011 Winemaker's Red from Maryhill. Big full nose of blackberries, spice and leather. Very fruit forward with plums and flowers. Very soft easy to drink.

Nicely balanced Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah. Bright cherries, Tannins not noticeable. A nice drinking and dinner wine at a low price. December 2022.

Dark maroon color of a perfectly ripe Bing cherry. Smells like soapstone, damp sagebrush and lavender candies. Bit of cedar perhaps too. Tastes like Winesap apples covered in black cherry jam and wild fennel fronds. But also Russian black tea which has fruit leaves and flowers in it. It’s dense and hearty. The edges are soft and rounded though. This is a tasty blend of the grapes of Boudreaux grown in the dry river lands of southern WA.

We actually liked this better than the Cab we had earlier this week from Maryhill. All of their wines are really well made.
