The 2020 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch is a very pretty, exotic wine. Tangerine oil, passionfruit, dried flowers, mint, almond and chamomile give the Zio Tony a tropical profile that is so attractive. In this vintage, the Zio Tony is a bit lighter in body than it can be, but that is not a bad thing. All the elements are very well balanced throughout. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2023)

12' Please drink this at cellar temperature! Let it open up for a bit in the glass. Color is light golden.It's a medium plus bodied. I'm blown away how well balanced this btl is. Citrus flavors on the front of the palate. Floral flavors are well integrated through the rest of your glass . Perfectly integrated oak & acidity. I'm already looking forward to opening another bottle! 93+ pts .

Golden with aromas of lemon, orange, pear, and green apple. Nice minerality and slight butter on the bud.

Had with marinated chicken. Decent nose. Body not together yet. Very long and sophisticated finish. Worth $60.

A solid wine. Doesn’t have the density of a Marcassin Zio which I’m ok with today.

Pop and pour. A marvelous medium golden straw color. On the nose: big vanilla oak, some lemon, honey, floral. Taste: A rich, creamy medium to full body wine with vanilla oak, lemon, grapefruit, more vanilla oak, pear...lacks a degree of refinement.....butter anyone?
