Martin Ray
Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Better than the last bottle I had. Think age helps this but it continues to be a “limited” cab. Nose provides an array of dark berries, some leather, and even hints of bbq. The mid palate and beyond still feels a bit weak and lagging the complexity of the nose - almost a bit watery. Tannins are medium and definitely mellowing. Have to give a shout out to Mark Thomas glasses - the best and bring out so many more flavors!

May 3rd, 2024Not like the Diamond Mountain Martin Ray's of the late 90s. Solid but not memorable.

Apr 9th, 2017Meh. I had high hopes for this one, as I'd had some wine from another vineyard in the area, which was spectacular. It's not a bad wine. Just not special
