This is an 100% Chardonnay with the interesting twist that it was aged in concrete egg shaped vessels. Begins with aromas of pear, pineapple & as well as hints of chalk. The palate has a refreshing backbone of acidity, and feels fresh and vibrant (likely due to the lack of oak). It brings flavors of lemon zest & pear with almond and honeysuckle on the finish. All-in-all a wonderful Chardonnay that was a great pairing with Bologonese! ($35) [10/24/21]
