This is really tasty.. The nose needs some time to open up , but it gets there with some Burgundian soft baking spice, dusty rose, and cranberry. The palate is definitely more extracted and rich than other pinots from this area, but the Carneros flavors still power through, with some ripe cranberry, pomegranate, a hint of anise, and a creamy succulent mouthfeel.. These keep getting better vintage by vintage and Carneros keeps growing on me. Serve this with a slight chill and it'll be a seductive temptress of a wine.
