This wine has an overwhelming nose and taste of cedar. Good fruit and finish, but the cedar is a bit much. I’ve had this before and it was much more balanced. I decanted the rest of the bottle and the cedar notes mellowed and than the oak tannins took over, was better, but not great. I believe I had the 2014 before.

Unlike any other red wine, this one was garnet in color. Tastes dominated by mountain thistle, spring harvested blueberries, uncle Mark's garage, wild foraged cep mushroom caps, hardening asphalt, wilted lavender blossom, crushed boysenberry, sun dried roma tomatoes, woven straw and road apple
