What a showing. Honeyed apricots. Tangelo. Wow what fruit. Fruit soup. Slate. Stunning. So ebullient and expressive. Herbs and minerals. Just so in the zone. Palate is juicy and elegant. So pure. Citrus and peaches. Amazing freshness and finesse. Stunning length. Awful day and MM to the rescue.

Wow. What a showing. Sick nose. Deeply floral, spicey and slatey. Classic Huhnerberg. Apricot. Peach pit. So precise. 16 is so good at Müllen. Palate is so complete, complex and precise. Terrific fruit and depth, but man mineral and deeply acidic but sweet resonant acids. This is just incredible today.

Has been a little over a year and wanted to check in. Gorgeous herbal nose and some just ripe apricot. Lifting minerals. Floral. Citrus. Just gorgeous. Really open. Wow. Palate is a grapefruit and citrus explosion. Wonderful purity and freshness. So delicate yet very powerful and deep. So tense and structured. Wonderful dry extract. Müllen at his best here. Nimble and powerful. With years to go. Such nice sappy citrus and apricot on the finish.

Superb, lifted aromas of citrus, crushed stones and spice. Wet earth. Very stoney. Glorious. Palate is dynamic, spicey, citrusy and teeming with energy. Pure and sappy. Loads of spice and texture. Almost an icing on cake texture. Superb citrus and sappy apricot. Awesome density, structure and purity. Young but thrilling

Classic Hühnerberg with slate, spice, gorgeous spice, citrus up the wazoo. Tangerine, tangelo, kumquat, swimming pool, urinal cake, hint of rubber, lavender, flowers so so sick and so so complex. Fruit cocktail. But also a hint of savory. Palate is elegant, concentrated, sleek, mineral, straight as an arrow with unreal complexity, finish seems peppery, juicy, mineral explosion and citrus pithy explosion as well and ripeness that hints at sweetness but is still bone dry. Watermelon fruit. Finished salty, mineral and apricot pith. So so complex. So so long. Stunning. As usual.

I’m on a Martin Müllen vinous Netflix binge these days. Needed to open a 16 to compare to some of these 18’s. Nose has terrific fruit. Like a citrus soup with herbs. Unreal hit of opulence. So refined. Really wide open. Ginger. So lovely and complex. Orange marmalade. So entrancing. Palate is superb. Fresh, fleshy and elegant with piquant acidity and vivid citrus fruits. Awesome length, refinement and pithy citrus fruits. Complex. And so so refined. Finishes super mineral. This is so pretty. Concentrated and so so fine.

Soaring aromas. Citrus, tangelo, citrus honeyed with minerals, makes no sense but it does. Decadent and energetic aromas. So clean. Huge slate and spice and a gorgeous lanolin quality. Herbs as well. Superb earthiness too. Juicy and concentrated but so elegant, refined and sleek. Long and so so pure. Flavors of citrus. Almost candied citrus. Amazing length. So complex and also has the structure for 15 more years. Wow.

Stunning wine. What a nose. Giant citrus. James and the giant citrus. Spice. Huge minerals. Wide open. Palate is so pure and beautifully elegant. So complex and mineral with huge acid and so refined. Citrus pith. Intense. Focused. Young. @Delectable Wine this spatlese Trocken.

Intoxicating nose, so spicy and animal. Savage tropical fruits on the nose, incredible, like jackfruit or even durian. After that blows off there’s that swimming pool aroma and lots more fruit, mangoes and citrus zest. Such good acid, electric in the mouth. Long finish. Did not want to put this glass down, though, it was so wildly aromatic.
