Stunning nose. Peach, spice, so perfect. Amazing. Wow wow wow wow. Elegant. On edge of spatlese and auslese border. What a finish.

Jun 6th, 2024Huge massive minerals on the nose. Wow. Wonderful freshness and purity. Citrus and apricots. Canned peach juice. Vulcanized rubber. Saffron. Spice. So complex. Tangerine. Blood orange. Palate is rich and there is good botrytis and very good acidity but not like 19 or 15. The freshness is from minerals. Amazing cleanliness and super pure and deep. This is backwards initially and I’ll track it throughout the day. This needs to fill in some.
Wow has this got filigreed with air. Nose is now classic Huhnerberg with a deep resin like spice. Palate is unctuous, fresh and ripe. So super pure. Wow.

Oh my God.
An oh my God on open.
Nose is beautiful. I’d buy it just for that. Intense but elegant guava flower, pineapple flower blend. A nasal orgasm.
Palate is confectionary sugar made from tropical fruit distillation. Gorgeous.

Nose is the best peach ever. Almost mesmerizing.
Palate is almost peach nectar. Almost a slightly thick texture. Some peach skin. Delicious. Good vivacity.
After a week open in the fridge this is nectar. Nose is gorgeous. Honey perfume. Palate is peach nectar. Finish is gods fresh peach.
So I’d let this sit 5 years.
This got NO stars. And it’s going to be brilliant in 5 years. Wow. Huhnerberg is one of the greatest vineyards in the world.
