Cali carignan that drinks like cru beajolais. Great, chuggable stuff.

Amazed how quickly we consumed this given that it was our second wine of the night. A bottle that would get a newbie on the road to geekdom.

2019. This is the long élevage that spent 18 months in neutral French oak. Tart berry/cherry, savory herbs, earthy tannins, and bright acidity. If blind tasted, I’d swear it was French. It was a perfect accompaniment to grilled flank steak and Lebanese zucchini with homemade chimichurri.
