Beautiful dark ruby color in the glass
Very italian nose (true to the varietal) Nose of cherries, ripe plum, licorice, turned earth, pepper, violet (as it opened up)
On the palate: dry, medium tannins, ripe cherries, soil, anise, peppery finish, fresh acidity keeps it lively.

Overall: Amazing wine from MS, she's crushing the Nero d'avola game in Cali. New world fruit with an old world feel. Went amazing with spaghetti bolognese. Bon Appetit!

Black cherry, menthol, hint of cinnamon sweetness. Dusty. Medium body and acidity. Complexity you’ll think about.

Lots of red fruit and more acid than Sicilian Nero’s. Not as Barnyard as Broc or COS, but equally as interesting but in a different way. Very tasty.

Raspberry and acid. Such a different wine by itself, and with food it was absolutely singing. Love that Mendo fruit!
