Lush. Absolutely lush explains this Chenin Blanc.

It’s a variety that’s hot, hot, hot right now. But you want it chilled 😉

In fact this Thursday the Australian Chenin Blanc Challenge is taking place in Perth FYI ‼️

I received this 2018 Margaret River Chenin Blanc bottle as a sample from Marri Wood Park and enjoyed every last drop. Thanks guys 😘

This is not your typical CB. It was actually fermented in a combination of French oak and large format Austrian oak for 10 months with monthly lees stirring. Therefore it’s perfect to match with a meal or even to pop in the cellar for ageing.

It’s divine! From it’s pale yellow hue to its aromas of citrus zest, florals and snow peas. It’s juicy and fresh on the palate with delicious textural flavour. Think spiced pears and grapefruit. Absolutely scrumptious in its youth and no doubt it’ll get better with a bit of age too 😋

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
