Steak, salad and red wine 🍷 Don’t you love those ‘nearly’ summer evenings!

Thank you Marriwood for sending over this sample of your 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. I popped it in my Riedel Cab Sauv specific glass (I.e. the glass that’s as big as my head and it can fit a whole bottle in, *apparently* 😏).

Here’s a bit more about this beauty:

🍷 The grapes are from a dry-grown, organic and biodynamic vineyard

🍷It has been aged in a combination of clay amphora and French oak for 14 months

We found it a gorgeous deep scarlet red colour in the glass. It has a lovely perfume of aromatic wood, spice and raspberries. It’s incredibly juicy in the mouth with a wonderful lengthy finish. Definitely a red that will be awesome to enjoy over the coming years. Cellar it if you can resist the urge to pop it 😜

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
