So enjoyable! You get a lot of red fruit from the rioja but some tannins and smokiness from the Cab Sav blended in. @ABaC in Barcelona with grilled Guinea fowl.

In a great zone. Full bodied, prunes and dark ripe cherries with good age, tannins and long length.

On the nose it reminds me of a late harvest Zinfandel or the sorts. Surprisingly very restrained. Dry with heavy tannins.
