Some fig and some yeasty type smell. Being is 14yrs old and color is showing some brown in look. Taste is not vibrant and a bit tired. Smooth finish. Would have liked this a few years back.

Much better alone than with food although cheeses and crusty white breads are a great companion. While still lots of tannins on the palate, it’s definitely starting down the back slope. The mouthfeel is thin but the finish lingers quite awhile and reminds you this was once an excellent wine. Worth the close out price.
