Consistently great wine. Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, dark berry, dark cherry, currants, cinnamon and spice, dark chocolate and smoked oak. On the palate, rich and full bodied, jammy fruits, dark berries and cherry, dark chocolate, hints of cinnamon, balsamic and espresso, smokiness/smoked oak. Long finish with hints of smoked citrus rind. Nice, chewy tannins.

82% Tempranillo, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Graciano. Aged 23 months in New French oak. Deep, dark, violet, ruby coloration. On the nose, currants, blackberry, minerals, spice, balsamic, coffee and chocolate. On the palate, currants, blackberry, lots of spice, lots of cinnamon, with some minerals, balsamic, chocolate and coffee. Very long finish. Very spicy and layered palate. Very unique. Full bodied and again, a long lingering finish. $80 at B-21
