Well, definitely a NZ sauvignon on the nose. Upfront gooseberry, hints lime and granny smith. In the mouth there is this exotic fruit, with a slight burned sugar aftertaste that prevails over acidity. Kind of a nose driven, rather than mouth driven wine. Will still do the trick, don’t get me wrong.
