White Cap. Glorious nose of refined slate, lanolin, fresh herbs, some hints of apricot and green apple. So subtle, almost like an elegant Chablis crossed with Mosel. I am sure it will open more with air but the foundation is there for dynamite aromatics. Some sweet ginger now. Lime blossom. The palate is just awesome. Rich. chewy and dense but light as a feather and so elegant. Long and focused with sweet lime fruit and unreal purity. This is so close to a 9.7. Overnight the aromas are so stunning and the palate even more elegant but it stayed at 9.6. Actually got to a 9.7 as the finish just became transcendent and forever.

May 15th, 2024White cap. Nose is gorgeous. White flowers, green apple skins, green apple flesh, some slight reductive aromas that will blow off but the airiness and depth are remarkable. Palate is superb! So complex and concentrated with unreal sweet lime fruit and so sapid. Juicy, long and complex. Wow is this long. Honeyed and just dizzying complexity. Wow this just stains the palate and seems very open. Stunning and profound.

Pop and pour. Notes from 1 hr open. On the nose: peach, soft cotton candy, loads of wet stone and lime...still surprisingly primary. On the palate: good acidity, loads of wet stone, lime, soft honeyed notes, fantastic density. Not quite as vibrant as other Molitor wines I've had from this vineyard, but superb balance, and damn good.

Brilliant color. Still surprisingly young and primary. So light on its feet for a two-star auslese. Absolutely brilliant.

Holy mother of god. Dried apricots, petrol, honeysuckle. Deep golden color from age. Viscous mouthfeel - rich. Like nectar in a glass. Minerality RS big time but acid for days. Beauty. Wine of the gods.

Nose: lemon flower.
Palate: mineral. Lovely sweet lemon. For me a bit too acidic.
