Nov 9th, 2023Green Cap. Exudes class. Nose gets confectionary after a while. Crazy confectionery. So aromatic and complex. Palate is like an orb with no edges due the kisses of sugar. So refined and finesse driven. Pillow like texture. A marvel but needs maybe 15+ years really if I am being honest.

Wow. Insane. Apricot and apricot blossom, golden raisin, touch of ginger, a bit of chili powder. Tremendous acid balance. Textured and voluptuous. Bright and sensuous with a tannic prickle. Close to perfection.

Jun 19th, 2023Unreal nose. Lime zest and flesh along with sick slate. Such well defined slate. Some ripe apricot and other fruits that veer towards just tropical. Such a sense of refinement. Airy, salty and slatey. Wow. So ethereal. Nothing like this. Unreal peach. Sickness. Nose is a 9.9. Zowie Batman complexity. So much energy on the palate. Wow. Insane acids and grip and that extra feinherb dosage adds such a textural relevance. But man is this fine and so structured. Sappy as all can be. Stimulating and salty. Man is this long and also needs mega mega air. You can sniff this so hard and it keeps giving more nuance. The complexity is off the charts and the structure and acidity is so intense. This is a 75 year wine and better in 10. But wow. A monument to the vintage. As long as any 19 i’ve had.
FOUR days later not only is this a 10, this is the greatest Riesling I’ve had in my life.
