Just a stunning nose. Airy and complex. Initially almost a Chablisean vibe. Super mineral. Like a cloud of minerals. Seems like it’s only scratching the surface of the aromas. Gorgeous slate. The nose gains breadth and depth as it airs. It’s like the best ocean breeze ever. Some green apple pokes through. Some of that vulcanized rubber. So much harmony and depth. Spice now. Just endless nuance. Oh yeah, that’s the stuff. Unreal depth and balance. Super chunky but delicate minerals and superb structure, depth and concentration. What texture and length. This is grippy and structured. Really chewy and dense. Rainwater now on the nose. Really such a unique and distinctive nose. What stands out on the aromas on this and the WSS 18 is the orchestral element. So many nuances and they are all in harmony. Nothing stands out. But everything is there. So clear. Still this is the most Chablisean nose I’ve ever smelled in a Mosel wine. Fruit plays a supporting role here. The palate is slowly opening up but the harmony is not quite there but I have 100% faith this will integrate over the morning and afternoon and also open up more. It’s all there.

Nose is getting more classic Mosel now. Some green apple, apricot and more fruit is poking through. The harmony is coming. Herbal as well. Wow. Here we go. The nose is sick. Wow what balance and power. The concentration is awesome. The complexity on the finish is out of this world. While being structured, deep and concentrated it is truly elegant and nimble.

After Mega air thus goes to a 9.8 and is one of the greatest dry Rieslings I’ve ever had. The integration and harmony is next level.

After many hours open this is next level elegant and still has that mineral force on the palate but the stuff is so nimble and elegant yet so dense it’s something that defies expectations. Simply one of the finest Rieslings I’ve ever had.

Wonderful depth & purity and quite multifaceted—racy salinity at one glance, creamy fruit at another. Open for business (we gave it a morning decant) but will benefit from more time. Beautiful wine.

Needs a 30 minute decant

Nose is tropical flowers. As it opens more chablisien.

Palate is Rich and very fruity. Tropical fruits. A hint of petrol. Amazingly delicious. Confectioners sugar. Tastes like there is rs although I’m sure there isn’t. Would be amazing with Fois gras.

As it opens much more classic. Wierd. Minerals. Green apple. Very good.

As this opens you get green apple. More mineral. Less candied tropical fruit. Getting MUCH better.

Bought from fass selections.
