White Cap. So dense and so young but oh my goodness is this a great wine. Nose is almost tropical and palate is lusciously mineral and long. What density. Lime fruit but barely. This is so mineral. Nose has a background of slate. Airy slate. Gorgeous. This is such a complex wine and has tannin. This will last 50+ years. What a finish. Minutes. I’ll track this over a few days in which I bet it will pickup finesse. So juicy. So so long. This is truly stunning. As this has aired (only 15+ minutes) my bet was correct and it’s gained world class finesse. Brilliant stuff. Still a bit of youthful austerity. I’ll be back in a few hours or tomorrow. MM wines and air really are made for each other.

On open that urziger wurzgarten blasting mineral spice. Intense. Almost sexual.
Palate is dense. Lemon pith. Mineral. Some richness. Mineral crunch. Lemon. Sweet lemon. Wow. Hints of grapefruit and green apple skin.
Amazing off the bat.

Pop and pour yesterday. Notes from 24 hrs open (refrigerated overnight). On the nose: soft peach, a hint of pineapple, mineral notes, stony cotton candy. On the palate: lovely acidity, fanastic minerality and density, underripe peach, sea salt. So good.
