Graacher Domprobst Kabinett Riesling

Killer confectionary nose of cotton candy, crushed slate, green apple but it’s overwhelmingly confectionary and so so aromatic. Wow. So airy and clean. Breezy like Sunday morning. Juicy and clean with vibrant acidity and lovely lime infused slatiness. Salty, piquant finish and wonderful length. Really elegant and incisive. Love this.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over three days. Consistent throughout. The 2021 is redolent of apples and then some tropical fruit and cashews as it warms. Petrol and minerals are there. Great acid. Some salinity in the finish. Lovely with Thai food. Lovely in general. Drink now and over the next 10 years easy.

Muted nose. Grapefruit, lime, green apple. Missing a touch on finish. Flattens at the end.

Ripe and botrytis. Big, juicy and very '13 but sleek, elegant and balanced with good punchy juiciness on the finish. Despite all dry extract and richness this still has a feather like quality.

Yum. Paired with harissa glazed sea bass with red onion.

Not much to add to my last note. Paired perfectly with chicken tagine. Plenty of gas in the tank, but drinks very well now.

Powerful, rich and first rate introduction to the Domaine.

Juicy lime and wet stone on the nose. Medium + acidity. Great salinity in the palate. Good find for $19.
