My word is this thing delicious. Pure hedonism at its best. It pours a dark red, almost black with legs unlike any wine I've seen in a while. The nose offers beautiful chocolate and violet aromas, with crushed black cherries, vanilla, and a whif of hickory smoke. The palate is rich, extracted, and pure pleasure, offering up mulled blueberries, raspberry jam, sweet chocolate, and a seamless texture with smooth tannins.. this bottle is roaring and ready to go even when young.. pure pleasure all the way around.

Mocha, mountain fruit, licorice. Big wine. 95 on pop n pour. Would have liked to decant this but i didn't bring a decanter on this glamping trip. Mountain fruit wine at 7500 elevation 👌will have the macauley version tomorrow

Not the brown label napa. This is the stagecoach single vineyard. Big drying tannins, tons of sediment, unctuous dark fruit with cola and mocha undertones. Prob by favorite wine they make.

Lots of depth and well balanced. Each sip gets better as you discover many of the subtle flavors.
