Awesome and layered. Intriguing aromas of cured meat, dried cherries, tar, fading roses and chalk; all classic stuff! Medium bodied showing intense and aromatic fruit, tight tannins, juicy acidity and a bold, sturdy finish. Many good years left, but darn tasty already. Most likely Marengo's best produce ever!
