Very unusual blend but surprisingly good. I had it two nights in a row and both times it tasted like velvety dark chocolate, with some complex notes of dried berries and herbs. Made by a small family winery, and it tastes like it was made with love.

Some fruit and hints of tobacco, but a harsh finish. I tried decanting twice on consecutive days, but it did not help. Neither my wife or I found the wine to be worth finishing on either day.

Pretty rough on the finish: really wanted to like this wine as it is inky dark dense with ripe fruit but didn’t open til second day and ended up being fairly one dimensional fruit focused w/unbalanced acidity & tannins
