Very pleasant. A soft Pinot Noir. Excellent drinking on a summer’s afternoon. Not for those that love their NZ Central Otago Pinot Noirs

2017 tasted 2020. A light bodied Pinot with a French character. New-mown hay and red raspberries on the nose. Just a hint of fruit on the front. Strong mineral tannins on the top of the mouth with a pleasantly soft ending.

No residual sugar. Only old oak. Amazing value.

Rivers edge Margrain 2013
A nice light Pinot noir. Earthy full bodied nose with cherries. Paired with calamari and Moroccan meatballs. Wine of the month for this restaurant.
