Sipping Fine Wine

Fruit sourced from several vineyards in Santa Barbara County, 100% Grenache, aged for 10 months in neutral French oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of tart blackberry and blueberry, with spice and herbs, lively acidic. Fine tight tannins, short finish ending with a spicy edge. Tasting Sample!

Make a reduction of dark plums, raspberries and strawberries, now make a jam/jelly out of that somehow. Liquify that and sprinkle a touch of cinnamon sugar and black pepper on top. Thats what this tastes and smells like. Its awesome. Super long finish.

I tasted plenty of Grenache in 2015.
This was the best.
My words will not do this justice.
Go buy now.

Candied blueberry upfront but not a one dimensional wine. Lighter but fulfilling

Great but a little lighter in body than I’d like. I guess maybe that’s just Grenache, but it seemed a little thin.

Really light bodies but still dry at the end. Fruitier than I usually like but still very yummy

From March 2017 wine club. Drink now through 2019. Fuller bodied than I expected from Grenache. Nice.
