A bit too oaky for my tastes. Rubber ball making an appearance which isn't always a bad thing - salty nose. Spritzy for a red wine.

Slightly tight tannins. Blackberry and leather. Good sipper. Don't let it get warm. Some pepper but mostly dirt. Not a bad thing.

Good value cab. Smells a bit smoky and herbal, balanced by currants and dark fruits. Savory and rich on the palate - a little hot.
