2009 is a solid wine, tastes like a Super Tuscan with classic Italian earthiness. Not a fruit bomb, but still has good dark fruit on the pallet accompanied by nice tannins and a hint of cedar.

Enjoyed this super Tuscan. Dark fruits and leather on the nose. Nice complexity. Super bright on the palette, strawberries, quite acidic. Not very tannic, lingers on the back of the tongue. Would love to have again.

Maybe it had more joy in its youth but now mostly depth and structure; still tannic, could be good with big meat like osso bucco or oxtails.
