10 year anniversary selection. 2008 Barolo. On the nose, dark cherry, florals, pepper and some hazelnut. On the palate, velvety texture and soft mouthfeel with dark cherry, vanilla, warm spices, and a longish finish of vanilla, cherry and hazelnut. Tannins have softened nicely but still present and perfectly balanced. This wine may be at its prime.
