Gave it about a 2 hour decant. Still pretty young. No bricking and tannins come through pretty strongly on the finish. Still, it's pretty delicious. Very aromatic, dusty tannins, dark fruits and hints of cigar box notes.

Cru in Montalcino, vines are 17 yrs. old, Sangiovese at the right color and transparency, still very young, medium body and structure, a little bit hot (15% alcohol declared), in the end is a very well done Brunello. #FrescobaldiTasting

If I only could drink more Brunello at this age & pedigree. Opulent coffee, cocoa, black prune concentration of fruit. Dried cherry, persimmon, terrific acidity and balance, lively. A balance of generosity and silkiness.
