Big fruit. Big oak. Big tannin. This wine is undoubtedly in the modern camp---from the deep, extracted color to the chocolaty-spicy oak---but is unquestionably delicious all the same.

We had this on 11/21/17. Dark purple in color. Lavender, earth and dark fruit on the bouquet. Dark fruit, graphite and lavender on the palate. We had to run it thru the aerator. That smoothed out the tannins. Smooth, long finish to this full bodied wine.

Big but maybe a little on the 'end' of life. Could be that it wasn't stored properly. Hope the next second one is better. Still a great and big wine!

Great wine, sweet notes on the nose. Light body with colorful taste. Hints of dark cherry, low tannins.
