A bit young but I got excited! Definite and distinct minerality. Plum, clove, balsamic, vanilla, dark chocolate. Balanced and structured, with smooth, elegant tannins. A nice expression of 2012, everything I want in a Brunello!

A young but complex wine for its age. Beautifully smooth, proved an excellent accompaniment for pasta.

Another oak driven Brunello, but if I had to choose between this and the Gaja Brunello, it would be this. Remarkable brightness in the Castelgiocondo and a rather enjoyable mineral mid-palate.
NB: Definitely looked younger than the Gaja - more acid and tannins.

17/20 (92/100) Сложный и элегантный аромат с нотами красных ягод, чернослива, ментола, орегано и шоколада. Довольно высокая кислотность и вяжущие, ещё чуть суховатые танины, которые, впрочем, не мешают наслаждаться вином. Просто отлично! (07.09.17)
