Straightforward brunello with a softer side. We let it breathe for an hour or so, to find it fully open, subtle, and well balanced. Fresh soil, grass, toasted tobacco, and underripe dark blackberries and raspberries. Would drink it again if offered, but not our favorite in its price range by a mile.

A bit young but delicious and paired well with the bolognese
