Blend of Grechetto, Procanico, Pinot Bianco and Viognier. Medium lemon color with aromas of citrus and white flower blossoms. On the palate flavors of lemon and ripe apple, good balance. Medium+ finish ending with flinty citrus character. Nice value !

Great start to Christmas dinner! And really wonderful memories of drinking it at Castello Della Sala with Massimilliano and my family this summer.

Marchesi Antinori ‘San Giovanni della Sala’ Orvieto Classico Superiore 2018: Medium-light bodied. Medium intense aromas. Lively acidity with a clean, fresh & fruity taste. Citrus, pear, white peach & subtle minerals on the palate. Long balanced finish. All in all, this was an excellent Grechetto white blend from the Umbria region of Italy and another Antinori winner with great QPR. Go find yourself a bottle & enjoy. You won’t regret it! Great day to all! Cheers🍷
