The Gran Selezione designation has been hit or miss for me. This wine delivers and then some! Plenty of soft tannins, juicy acidity, red cherries, plums, a hint of tar and dried red flowers. Most delicious!

This is a very solid Chianti. Great mouth feel and weight. Mostly red cherry on entry it definitely a sense of the rocky soil at the property

aromas of sweet balsamic, tea leaf, dried rosemary, spiced plum pie, licorice and maybe a little anise. beautiful.....has a rich almost syrupy mouthfeel. dark wood and tea- red and black fruits play together...the overall balance on this is wonderful- this feels like a natural substance, a juice- not something concocted.
