Top Notes For
Having a glass of this after a long day on the river. A little on the dry side, not too much of a bite. Finishes with chocolate flavors.

Dark pomegranate colour, balanced, pleasantly tart.
Nose starts with blackthorn, tobacco leaf and black gooseberry.
Dominant component of palate is chokeberry, plus hints of bilberry.
Lingering finish with sudden acidity at the first stage, giving a way to black currant tartness.
Spicy meat, mushrooms with sauce, mature cheese and musaka would be good company to this wine.
