Appears almost crystalline in the glass. Nose displays stoney, white-fleshed exotic fruits. Mid palate is all about honeycomb, along with a waxy texture. This is a GC benchmark in its category, in our opinion.

Just loving the French GC’s as they represent a departure from the “cash n flash” Cali chards. Clean, fresh and tense with perfect acidity. Grapefruit and apricots meld with a hint of honied sweetness. Untouchable in terms of the expression of the varietal.

Slightly muted nose, in part because we like our whites served on the cooler side, but did detect peach and white flowers. The palate delivers a huge surprise… perfectly balanced, with a precise structure and acidity. No bitterness, just minerality (flintstone) and sweet stone fruits. But we loved the fact that the oak treatment was undetectable, which enables the beauty of the wine to come center-stage. Easily a case buy.

Impromptu meet up at Classic!

Honeyed pear, honeyed Apple, and every honeyed tropical fruit. The fruit itself is tart and underripe. No butter, but also not steely. Round palate with melon and cantaloupe on the finish. Drink up.

On the advanced side, but pleasant. Needs to be consumed.

Past prime. Fun experience nonetheless. Over oxidized and a bit flat.
