An absolutely gorgeous, mid-weight Hermitage. Producer over vintage for sure. Huckleberry compote, ripe black cherry, plum, Creme de Violette, BBQ pork, leather, sweet wood, asian spices, garrigue, dried flowers and potpourri. Silky, elegant, sexy all at once.

Thick spice on the nose that settled down after 15 minutes. Round, almost velvety tannins that still grip on your palate and add to the luscious texture on par with ripe blackberry, tar, raspberry, old spice box, a touch of game and even a slightest (and a beautiful one) hint of bretts. Joy!
