Gorgeous cask strength bourbon from powerhouse Maker’s Mark 🥃 The perfect structural support for this beautiful Banana Boulevardier 💥 The recipe (below) was concocted by the mixology gurus at Houston’s very own Anvil Bar + Refuge.

- 1 oz bourbon
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 1/2 oz Campari
- 1/2 oz banana liqueur

Very good complex bourbon. Typical Maker's flavor but stronger and heavy on the oak. Need to replenish my stock.

Very drinkable, but quite hot. Relatively straightforward but a very good, intense expression of Kentucky bourbon. Congrats to #18 on a well-deserved victory.

This is a very nice smooth bourbon for 113 proof. Nice vanilla and oak on the nose.

Maple, vanilla. This reminds me of Lexington and Keeneland.

Sweet vanilla and maple smell with some cedar in the background. A nice sting of alcohol on the nose. Just enough to let you know your getting too close. Very Earthy taste. Mushrooms and dirt and munched wood, but I mean that in a good way. There that strong black tea that I have come to expect, and love in all Maker's Mark. The burn is hot and lingers like eating chili, it almost makes you sweat. Something else in the back that I can't quite place...very rustic like eating roasted vegetables. Would add some water to make it a little easier to sip. Fantastic Bourbon if you can get it.

Oooooo... Very very good. Early ting/burn but smooth in the finish.
