Purple-red, dense, moderately to highly extracted pigment. Raspberry and black currant aromas. Raspberry, cherry flavors with blueberry and menthol on finish, slightly tight in initial pour, light to moderate skin astringency. Toasty smoky barrel aromas and flavors emerge after 30 minutes. A slightly bitter, slightly tart cherry-berry finish and aftertaste also emerge as the wine resolves. Umami shows up after 90 minutes. I appreciate the intention behind the winemaking here; this is not your typical Oregon Pinot, but instead a level beyond. This wine might need additional aging, which surprises me somewhat, but based on how the tasting plays out over the first 90 minutes from opening, it has high skin contact, moderate seed contact, and is probably age worthy given its vinification or processing, the high tannins and high pigment extraction. In essence, I opened this bottle too early. The winemaking style is unusual compared to most Oregon Pinot Noirs. Give this one another two or three years before opening. This could be a really special wine in terms of structure and balance. Unfortunately, this was my only bottle from this vintage...

Raspberry, cherry, blood orange, Asian spice, fennel, herb tea. Powerful wine that makes an immediate impact with floral aromas, ripe red fruit character and balanced by generous but supple tannins. Fruit and spice character adhere to the mid palate well after the finish and the acidity is bright, giving movement and lift. Assertive wine with a sense of finesse.

6 weeks after bottling and singing... The petite Incline 14 was just as delicious without the added tannin structure and depth/richness of fruit.

a bit bigger than I expected, I would have probably called this a central coast CA pinot if I was blinded. the dark fruit was a bit muted and a hint of Earl Grey tea

Big voluminous. Plenty of body to hide the 14.5% abc. Juicy with a very long finish. The heat does show up at the very very end. Just makes you want another drink immediately. Well done.

Beautiful wine. This needs at least 2 hours of air and it really blossoms on the nose and palette.

Denser than the 2013 vintage. It needs some time, it currently has a good mix of fruit and structure that will develop nicely
