Oct 18th, 2018The 95 vintage opens quickly, a charmer, elegant and easy to enjoy but does benefit from a 2 hour slow ox. Initially I preferred the 96, then switched to the 95 but at the end of the meal the 96 was conclusively better and seemed to be improving rapidly

Very fugal in the nose initially as it sits in the stem it starts to show red fruit with black tea and a faint clove note, intoxicating. Plenty of live in this 96, she's very graceful on the palate , red raspberry a warm subtle mouth feel that lingers making you want to drink more. A pleasant surprise!
