100% Syrah, medium Ruby with aromas of sweet red fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and raspberry with some spice. Lively acidity with medium tannins, good length ending with a fruit character. Drink now.

Bold and spice forward with hints of black fruit on the nose. Clove, plum, a bit of earth and slightly sweet smoky quality. On the palate, tart dried cherry, potpourri. Medium smooth finish. Would be great with smoked red meats

Good the first night, then fell flat

Smokey on the nose, dark on the pour, sting in the tongue

Moderate on the palate. String flavors of dark fruit, the barest hint of black pepper. More bold after breathing for a while. Middling but very drinkable.

TW. Undrinkable

Molasses , honey , plum and fig on the nose. Fruit and nice balance of acidity. Fantastic wine now, would love to revisit after 5-10 years on it. 13%

Amazing with beef short ribs (what isn’t?). I don’t know northern Rhone too well but seemed lighter bodied than I expected. Good balance, blackberries, black pepper. Medium tannins

Not great. Not sure if bottle was off. Cork was dry and broke coming out. So many better options in syrahs
