Apr 11th, 2022Stunning. If a wine could be a Viking Warrior this is it. Stoic and intense. Huge nose of intense lime zest and doubly intense oyster minerality. It reeks of minerals. Meyer lemon and lemon candy. Phenomenal nose. Palate is just brilliant. Insane minerality and sweet lime fruit and some sweet Granny Smith Apple as well. So many minerals they appear as sweet. Powerful and structured but also insanely elegant. This is really in a spot. No rush.

A new Les Clos producer to me that’s a decent drop for £59 but feels it needs more time as very dry & mineral laden today which will be perfect for some 😉 I prefer William Fevre Les Clos for 💵😁 better @ 12C - decant 2hrs to free this wine 👍 Age will reward here 😉

Really delicious. Nice big les Clos fruit. Big minerality and acidity. Really nice rockiness. I’ve never had a bad bottle of Dampt. Bought from Fass Selections.
