This is a light wine with a cherry nose that also has hints of minerality. It has mouthwatering acidity that frames light cherry fruits on the palate with a hint of tobacco box and smoke, not a lot of stuffing but extremely drinkable.

Pretty basic. Bright but sort of fleshy and, well, boring. Not offensive, simply uninspiring.

Pretty average burgundy. Not particularly special in any way. Overpriced for what it is.

For not too many dollars, a great meal time accompaniment.

Pomegranate and cherry. Basic. A good value for pinot. Not a great value overall.

Very pleasant for the ride, but not necessarily a destination.

Pretty darn good for a $15 wine. No bite. Soft and easy. More than I expected. A nice surprise. Shockingly.

A solid entry level Burgundy. All the classic traits of the terroir. Aromas of bright red fruit and earth. In the mouth there's cherries, plums, and just a touch of herbal spice. I'm especially liking the cedar and minerality of this wine. Smoke and nice acidity on the finish. It's light bodied and at 12.5, it's certainly no lush heavy hitter, but it does what it does just fine.
