This is a light wine with a cherry nose that also has hints of minerality. It has mouthwatering acidity that frames light cherry fruits on the palate with a hint of tobacco box and smoke, not a lot of stuffing but extremely drinkable.

Pomegranate and cherry. Basic. A good value for pinot. Not a great value overall.

Mar 18th, 2017Pretty darn good for a $15 wine. No bite. Soft and easy. More than I expected. A nice surprise. Shockingly.

May 10th, 2016A solid entry level Burgundy. All the classic traits of the terroir. Aromas of bright red fruit and earth. In the mouth there's cherries, plums, and just a touch of herbal spice. I'm especially liking the cedar and minerality of this wine. Smoke and nice acidity on the finish. It's light bodied and at 12.5, it's certainly no lush heavy hitter, but it does what it does just fine.
