I’m not sure. This was just a little to bland for me. Muddled fruits on the nose, some vanilla and earth tones, but really just vague and round. Of all the Madrigal wines, this did the least for me.

A-3.5/5 prune soft dark fruit , black berry hint of molasses taste is dark soft fruit prune, dark strawberry. Soft but fair finish . Probably would not purchase due to price point

I like the Madrigal Zins. Lighter and less peppery. My arugula topped, wood fired pizza made it taste great!

! Opulent mouthfeel and leggy .A superlative effort from Napa ! Rich chocolate ,blackberry and plumb ; nice alcohol integration . At 15.1% alcohol it didn't seem hot at all.
