Good wine. Next to Bordeaux -- higher alcohol and much lower acid. Definitive jam suggestion on the nose. Sweet apples, plums, cherries. Structure -- by comparison -- "drops".

Huge tannins remain on this Merlot. Quite surprising. Matcha tea with a diminishing body of Bing cherries. Can't believe I still have 4 bottles of this. Be sure to use an "Ah So" opener or you very likely will have cork in the wine. Still enjoyable.
