Ripe and extracted style or Cabernet franc. Nose of ripe black fruit, spice, dark chocolate. Palette confirms the nose. Fairly coarse tannin and a bit of bittersweet chocolate phenolic goodness. Decent acidity.

Dark crimson, good character, a bit of inkiness, and fruit present, but had the bite of syrah, not too woody. A really nice wine, and great to hold up with most foods.

Plum, chocolate, funk on the nose. Acid, leather, raspberry on the palate. Drinking very well now. No stew here!
